We just took Anna to the Doctor Monday March 15th and she is 10 pounds 2 ounces. She's so little. She's in the 5th percentile for weight and 25th for height. She is doing very well though. She didn't like the shots too much but who would right? The Doctor wants me to start her on rice cereal now and in my mind I was thinking oh I won't start anything for a while. But I think the Doctor thinks she needs more calories and he said that she doesn't get enough iron just by breast milk. Well either way it will be a big change for me cause I'm so use to just feeding her myself. Zach says he's excited to watch her face when she eats. How time flies, I can't believe that she's 4 months old!!!!

Fun Pictures
So I just thought that I'd add some of my favorite pictures I've taken of Anna lately! We are so blessed to have her in our home. She loves to talk and make all kinds of noises. She does this grunting thing when she's really tired as she's drifting off to sleep, honestly it really makes me laugh. I need to get it recorded cause seriously it's an Anna special.
Zach has been busy busy busy with 16 credit hours at ASU, driving school busses, going to do respite care with me at Kitty and Kevin's and also being the 1st counselor in the young men's presidency which also makes him the varsity scout coach. I know he loves all that he does and he really has such a great attitude about it all. It's crazy because a few years ago I felt like that was me. I was always on the run and now I stay home with Anna all the time. It has been a lot of fun but there are those times I miss just getting in the car and going where ever I want when ever I want. But nothing can replace the joy that it has been to have a sweet baby in our home. I'm also going to be watching Brightlie Reidhead while her Mom teaches one dance class at a Hendrix Junior High School for a few hours Mon-Fri. Anna and Brightlie aren't quite sure what to do with each other yet but they'll get use to it over time I think.
Anna laughing
So Anna's new favorite thing is when we take her clothes off to give her a bath. The other night Zach got her to laugh and we caught a little bit of it!

Every Day An Adventure
So every day Anna seems to learn something new. I have to say that having a new baby is incredible. They learn so fast and comprehend so much. Anna has taught me many new things. First of all I'd have to say patience. I didn't realize how much I really did in my life and how I'm always on the go until I had Anna, now I'm forced, in a way, to plan my day around another person and also feed her every 2 to 3 hours. In Anna's case almost every 2 hours. I've already fed Anna 9 times today and no I usually don't count but that's about 4 hours or so of feeding. I know before that I could have gotten a lot done in those 4 hours. But I also know that this is what Heavenly Father wants me to do and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be a Mother. Other important things I've learned are: time management, to be grateful for the small things in life, and to never take for granted precious time spent with those that you love. One of the most amazing things about babies is their sweet spirits. Every morning Anna greets me with one of her big smiles that make my day! What a thrill she is.
