So thanksgiving is around the corner and there is so much to be thankful for. Of course there is the usual house and food and cars, all very important things and we don't want to diminish any blessing that the Lord gives us, but lately i've been very impressed at how important the basis of our government is. The constitution is such a wonderful and sacred document and provides everyone in this country agency to do what they will. Good or Bad. That is so vital for our growth in this life. Just as sacred as this document is are the sacrifices made by the soldiers who have fought and died for our country, or more correctly for the constitution of the united states. How amazing is it that someone would give up their life so that we can live anyway we want? So that we can have peace and happiness in our lives? I find that such a selfless act and so christlike yet so many in our country take that for granted. Let's take time this thanksgiving to thank our troops for their service and remember those who have given their time and lives to defend our freedom and lives.

Sorry it's been a while. Zach and I are finally getting settled I think. It's truly been a lot of fun getting to know him better. Zach's going to have jaw surgery in December sometime eeek but I'll be happy when that is all over! He's still driving buses and going to school at MCC. That keeps him busy. All I do is work at a place Called "Parrish the Stress", it's a massage place. Most of the time I stay busy which is good. Some days I truly don't have anything to do but overall this has been a pretty good job. I'm excited for the holiday's to see so much family. What a blessing that will be. The only other exciting thing is that Zach and I both have callings now. I'm in the nursery and Zach is an assistant teachers corm adviser. We are also excited because on Dec 6th his Grandma is getting married in Utah, in the temple.

The Christensen's

I am now a Christensen. That is so crazy. We are finally getting settled in our apartment. It's small but I really like the neighborhood and the ward. We live close to the temple, Andrea, and Zach's Parents which is fun. We are very blessed! I start a new job Monday at a massage place on Val Vista and Southern. Zach's having fun going to school and driving school buses.
I'm very grateful that Kyson is home. It would be so hard going through all of that! I sure hope he gets better soon. He's such a special boy!
