Primary President
Just in case people want to know a little about what is new in our lives, I just got called to be the Primary President in our ward. I'm not exactly sure how to feel about this calling but I'm excited about it. I'm a little nervous because they only called one of my counselors this Sunday. But when I talked to them they said that they should call people next Sunday which would be super nice. I don't really know what to expect from this calling but in time I'm sure the Lord will show me how it all works. If anyone has any specific advice or things that worked well for them in Primary let me know, I'm up for any input I can get at this point.

I am absolutely thrilled that you were called and have been praying for you and for your family. It will be a big responsibility, but your spirit shines so brightly that I know you can do this.
I don't have any advice, but I know you are going to do great!! It looks like you guys are doing great! I love your family picture on the top of your blog! We miss you guys!
How exciting!! Do you have a big primary? That can really affect what you do for sharing time, or at least how you implement it. Our primary is pretty big, we have about 120 children total so it can be hard to keep the reverence sometimes! We usually pass about 5-10 little cards each week that have a starburst attached that say they were caught being reverent. We just pass them to the most reverent children (obviously) so the others are reverent hoping for one! :) I get sharing time ideas from sugardoodle and she links to other sites that have ideas too.
